Welcome to Verta (the "App"), an AI-powered interior design tool that lets you reimagine your spaces from a photo. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by the laws of your country) to use Verta. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account & Anonymous ID

Verta does not require you to create an account with personal credentials. The App generates a random, anonymous identifier stored on your device so we can associate purchases and content with your installation. You are responsible for safeguarding access to your device.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial use.

4. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

• Verta offers optional paid features (e.g. Verta PRO) via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Payment is charged to your App Store / Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your store account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their store policies; please contact them directly for refund requests.
• Prices may change. Any price changes for active subscriptions will be communicated via the store and require renewed consent where required by law.

5. AI-Generated Content

Verta uses third-party AI models to generate redesigned images from photos you upload. AI output is provided "as is" and may contain inaccuracies, distortions, or artifacts. You should not rely on AI-generated images as professional architectural, structural, or design advice.

6. Your Content

• You retain ownership of photos you upload ("Your Content").
• You grant Verta a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process Your Content solely to provide the App's features (e.g. send it to the AI provider and return the redesigned image to you).
• You confirm that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) upload content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes on others' rights; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code; (c) use the App to harass others; (d) use the App in violation of any applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

Verta, its name, logos, designs, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any of our intellectual property to you.

9. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including Apple App Store, Google Play, Firebase (Google LLC), and AI model providers. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply to data processed through their systems.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verta and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent required by mandatory consumer protection laws; otherwise, the laws of the developer's country of residence apply.
